Breaking Free from the Enemy’s Grip
Does it feel like an invisible force is holding you back from success? No matter how hard you try, setbacks seem to block your progress in business, life, and relationships. You are under attack. The enemy does not want you to succeed. But you can’t just stand by and let him have his way—you must take action.
The devil is a liar and a thief. Anyone who deceives, manipulates, or harms others is following his influence, whether they realize it or not. But you are called to fight back. The Bible says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7, KJV). This means that when you stand firm in faith and refuse to give in to his schemes, he must retreat.
The truth is, the devil has no power over you unless you give it to him through sin. Sin opens the door for the enemy to torment you. He will tempt you, deceive you, and make sin feel like success. But understand this: if everything seems to be going your way while you live in sin, it’s because the enemy wants you comfortable in destruction. His goal is for you to lose—lose your place in eternity, lose your innocence, lose your family, and ultimately, lose your life.
When you start walking in God’s purpose, the enemy panics. His forces do not want another believer to win. So, they will fight harder—using people to harass you, deceive you, slander you, and throw every obstacle in your way.
But trials are not proof that God has abandoned you. Sometimes, they are tests meant to strengthen you. The enemy will try to make you believe that your struggles mean God doesn’t care. He will point out those who live unrighteously yet seem to prosper, trying to make you doubt God’s plan.
Make no mistake: if you are striving to live righteously, the enemy will do everything in his power to stop you. So, what can you do?
• Submit to God (James 4:7). Keep your heart aligned with His will.
• Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Do not entertain his lies.
• Stay vigilant and prayerful. Seek God daily for strength and wisdom.
• Train yourself and your family to battle the enemy. Pray together every day.
• Remain close to God. Listen to His voice, trust His guidance, and stand firm in faith.
A Prayer for Protection and Deliverance
Lord, I pray for Your protection and deliverance from the enemy. No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are our refuge and shield. Remove the enemy’s influence from our path. Strengthen us in faith, and let us walk in Your light.
I ask this in the name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Thank You, Amen.
