Have you been praying for something for months or even years and you have not seen any results. Could it be that God is preparing you for the answer to your prayers? Here are my thoughts.
It’s hard when you see other people getting their prayers answered and you are still waiting for God to answer yours. It is especially disconcerting when you see people get answers to their prayers who aren’t even trying to live out God’s laws, decrees, or commands.
I think it is because of this. God answers when we are ready. The devil or the world answers when we want it, need it, are afraid or can’t wait. Saul sought the answers in a worldly way. When you wait upon the Lord, he is preparing you for your blessing. David had to wait for years before he became king.
Sometimes our character is not ready to get the blessing that God wants for us. It may take years of training and discipline before you see your prayers answered or the promises that you heard the Lord speak to you in prayer or in a vision. You are training your heart and soul to walk in the Way. Prepare yourself for God to answer your prayers.
Seeking God in his Word will lead you to a path that is your own. The world leads you in a path that is its own. Your prayers are already answered. God is simply waiting for you to reach it.
